Counseling Services
Wraparound differs from many service delivery strategies, in that it provides a comprehensive, holistic, youth and family-driven way of responding when children or youth experience serious mental health or behavioral challenges. Wraparound puts the child or youth and family at the center. With support from a team of professionals and natural supports, the family’s ideas and perspectives about what they need and what will be helpful drive all of the work in Wraparound.
Who Is Eligible?
Wraparound is often described as a “last resort” service. Due to the intense nature of the supports offered through wraparound, a request for services must be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary community team for approval. Wraparound is funded exclusively through Medicaid and not eligible through any commercial or private insurance carrier.
Services Offered
The young person and their family members work with a Wraparound facilitator to build their Wraparound team, which can include the family’s friends and people from the wider community, as well as providers of services and supports. Wraparound strives to keep youth and families together in the community.
Program Specializations
Wraparound can offer support and service connections for a vast array of family needs. Families that need help with navigating a school IEP, Mental Health services, or Juvenile Court services, wraparound can connect the family to the correct services for those needs.

Wraparound is offered at any location the youth and family find most comfortable for the situation.
