You can help make this holiday season extra special for the kids and families that rely on Wedgwood Christian Services!
Here are 6 ways you can get involved:
1.) PURCHASE A $35 GIFT FROM A RESIDENT‘S WISH LIST
- Email alisiak@wedgwood.org for a youth’s wish list
- Purchase one $35 item from the list
- Label gift with youth’s name and home name (noted on list)
- Drop off unwrapped gift and wrapping supplies at Wedgwood Christian Services
2.) PURCHASE ITEMS FOR COMMUNITY PROGRAM STOCKINGS & CHRISTMAS BINGO PRIZES
- Check out our Amazon Wishlist to purchase requested items
- Items will ship directly to Wedgwood!
3.) PURCHASE STOCKINGS FOR A RESIDENTIAL HOME
- Email alisiak@wedgwood.org for a Home’s stocking list
- Each Residential Home has between 5 – 14 residents
- Put stockings in ONE container, labeled with Home name
- Drop off at Wedgwood Christian Services
4) CREATE A GIFT BASKET FOR ONE OF OUR RESIDENTIAL HOMES
- Each Residential Home receives their own themed basket to enjoy together
- Examples: Lego, sports, movie-night, etc.
- Email alisiak@wedgwood.org for details on requested baskets
- These gift baskets can be as big or small as you would like to make them. They can be wrapped, unwrapped, in a basket, large Christmas bag – the sky’s the limit on how you can create them!
- Label basket with Home Name and Basket Type
- Drop off at Wedgwood Christian Services
5.) CREATE OR DECORATE CHRISTMAS CARDS
- Create/decorate Christmas cards for the youth and families in Wedgwood’s care or the amazing staff members that provide life-changing care and support
- Inscribe with encouraging words.
- When signing the card, please do not list your full name.
- Drop them off or mail them to Wedgwood by 12/15

6.) MONETARY DONATION
- Gifts support our donor-funded programs like Recreation & Wellness Services, Chaplaincy & Youth Ministry, Employment Training, and Christmas Break Activities – which are especially important for kids’ well-being this time of year!
- MAKE A GIFT ONLINE | Note Christmas Fund
- Mail checks made out to Wedgwood Christian Services with Christmas Fund in the memo line to Wedgwood Christian Services c/o Advancement Department – 3300 36th Street SE, Grand Rapids MI 49512
