This program fills a crucial gap in the continuum of care for teens completing residential treatment who still need support before moving into independent living, foster care, or reuniting with family. There are few options for these young people — and that’s where Wedgwood’s Audere Program steps in.
Audere (pronounced AW-der-eh) is Latin for “to dare, venture, or risk” and conveys the idea of having the courage to act, often in the face of the unknown.
The team at Audere offers a safe, stable, and supportive environment for youth ages 15–18 to continue building life skills and confidence.

Referrals are made through an agency that will provide funding for services, such as Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) or Juvenile Courts. In general, insurance does not pay for residential treatment at Wedgwood.
