Prevention Services mission statement: We seek to enable youth to make healthy life choices and to promote abstinence from sexual activity, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.

Our Services: Transforming
Prevention Services

Many of our prevention programs are part of Wedgwood's
Core Services that are funded by public sources. However, there
are two critical programs for youth that are part of Wedgwood's Transforming Services, and rely 100% on donations. Without donor support, these programs would not exist in our community!

Our Prevention Services programs have set us apart as a community leader in this area. These programs are well known and respected by many area school districts. Our goal is to strength our youth and community by increasing kids' resiliency against pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, substance use, violence, and other high-risk behaviors among teenagers.

  • Pure Passion for Fashion (P2) engages teens through a multi-media event featuring modest fashions, music, video and a high energy message about the benefits of healthy decision making.
  • Teens On Track reaches urban youth through neighborhood clubs that facilitate making better decisions.
  • The Manasseh Project is an outreach ministry of Wedgwood dedicated to ending the sexual exploitation of young men and women in West Michigan.

Pure Passion for Fashion (P2)
