Chaplaincy/Young Life

Chaplaincy/Young Life Programs offer Christ and His message of hope, healing and wholeness to children who are recovering from the trauma of abuse, neglect and the family struggles that brought them to Wedgwood. These critical life-changing programs are funded 100% by donor contributions.

The average success rate for advancing children out of secure residential treatment is 85% (vs. the 70% state average) and is attributed, in large part, to presenting Christ as the ultimate solution to their problems.

There are two chaplains, two spiritual care specialists and two Young Life leaders on staff at Wedgwood.
